What color should I paint my room?
Well let's see, lots of things to consider before chosing paint colors. What's on the floor, what color are your big ticket items, such as sofa, chairs, curtains? When I chose a paint color for a client I make sure the color I put on the wall compliments all the big ticket items. I like to make them stand out in the room, especially because that is where you spent most of the money.

It looks good! You are a quick learner.
ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law also has a decorating blog (she does it for fun) if you want to check it out at http://veryberrynice.blogspot.com/
She has also learned how to design her own templates(I'm still working on that one)
And she has links to a lot of other decorating blogs you might be interested in.

I always have a hard time picking out paint colors. With so many colors it can be so confusing! It's nice to meet you. I'm the SIL that Lisa is talking about in the comment above. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to meet you also! I really don't seem to have a problem with picken out colors, of course with the help of all the swatches I have, from Sherwin Williams and Behr, they are my paint of choice. I love contrasting colors, or even going monochromatic, seems to be the in thing. Understanding the color wheel helps me a lot. So you decorate for fun Lisa says, that is how I started, then I was doin so much for fun, it was too time consuming so I had to start charging, I just love this job. So rewarding! I guess we will have to keep in touch, we could probably help each other down the road. Good luck to you in all your decorating, and feel free to ask any questions you have.
